About Dominic
Dominic is a rising 2L and first-generation law student at UConn School of Law. As a graduate of Colby College with a major in English and minor in Chinese, he balances life and work by combining his passions for language and general advocacy with growing interests in immigration and international law.
Along with volunteering for PPP, Dominic works for the UConn Law chapter of IRAP by helping summarize weekly updates for practicing immigration attorneys that assist refugees in filing for asylum. He also works part-time at the UConn Law Library where he enjoys chatting with patrons and guiding them towards the primary and secondary legal sources they seek. In the past, Dominic has been employed both at university and outside school, gaining experience in roles that required event planning, magazine writing, and other communication-based skills. He has also worked as a research intern for various internships, covering a diverse range of subject matters that extend from critical indigenous studies to museum scholarship and climate media analysis.
Above all, he is a human being that enjoys dancing in the rain, reading and writing poetry, as well as studying the often-interconnected histories of Mesoamerican, Asian, and African art.
